About barry pryor
Former police detective Barry Pryor has over 40 years’ experience in specialist security and advanced protection in the personal, professional and public arenas.
For 16 years, Barry was engaged in a number of specialist roles within the police service, from crucial responsibilities within robbery and murder squads to overseeing security planning at national events as a Counter Terrorism Search Advisor.
Since 1998, he’s provided expert consultancy on safety and security for companies of all sizes across many sectors, from SMEs to blue-chip and multinational companies. Barry works collaboratively and on a consultancy basis with leadership teams and workforces, to effectively manage risk and deliver advanced security services through innovative and intelligent solutions tailored to their needs.
Barry’s specialist experience and expertise enable him to quickly assess and identify solutions with clarity, adopting a pragmatic and efficient approach. Through his extensive network of trusted contacts and connections he enables businesses to cost-effectively manage and reduce risk, making operations at all levels safer overall.
Barry is passionate about delivering trusted and highly efficient security support and solutions, with dedicated experience within many industries and sectors from agriculture and construction to transport and logistics. Past and current clients include Müller UK, EDF, Sodexo and Carillion. Barry has also worked with Her Majesty’s Treasury Office and his consultancy has been vetted by the security services.
About mike field
Mike Field is a specialist in Health and Safety, Fire Safety and Environmental Protection. As a fire safety consultant for 50 years and HSE specialist for over 40 years, Mike’s expertise and experience in this area is second to none and encompasses an extensive variety of sectors and organisations.
During his career Mike has held a number of senior HSE & Fire Safety management positions, working across a wide range of industries both nationally and internationally. His expert knowledge and guidance enables businesses to operate and expand with complete confidence and full compliance with HSE law.
Working with businesses in a targeted manner tailored to their specific needs, Mike has successfully developed and implemented a variety of HSE management systems to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001certification. He has also managed project safety as part of the mobilisation and realisation of several multimillion-pound projects, and led Safety Cultural Change Programmes in multinational companies. Whether supporting a company long-term as an advisor or consulting on a per-project basis, Mike enables organisations to evolve and expand whilst meeting the required standards put in place to protect employees, the environment and the wider public.
Mike is particularly focused on working collaboratively with his clients to nurture a greater depth of understanding and ownership within their businesses, so that safety becomes an integral part of their thinking and decision making. Mike has worked within a wide of business sectors including civil engineering, utilities, property management, construction and theme parks. Past clients include Legoland, Celador, British Safety Council, BNP Paribas and Arcelor Mittal.
